All our wooden utensils are hand carved. Every piece is unique and no two will ever look the same. Different types of wood make them look even more unique. Tactile and delicate design makes the utensils extremely light in weight. However following the shape of the grain and paying attention to every single piece of wood make the utensils strong and durable. Fruit wood we use is very dense, especially apple and plum. We are also always keen to try different timber like linden, elder, hornbeam, sea buckthorn, mahogany, so you might see some of these in our shop. It is very important to take a good care of wooden utensils.
 
Care instructions:
wash by hand using scrub pad in the grain directiondon’t dishwash or leave in the water for extended periods of timepat dry with a cloth and let it air dryoil once a month with your favourite oilrub with a slice of lemon if any strong flavours seeped into the wood.If you have any questions, please send us a message.
